ddd would not be top nationally. It has a really weak presence in the midwest, the west and most of the east.

That's just pathetic. XO/KD/DG at State could compete with our top tier any day, and anyone with friends there would know that. As for the OPs question, DDD legacies/girls connected to the chapter wither go DDD at Ole Miss, or go XO/DG/KD at State instead of DDD because they are top tier kind of girls.

Saying the chapters could compete is not at all a comparison. Anyone from schools that usually produce top tier girls knows that when they go to Ole Miss they are split between our top tier, and when they go to State they are split between XO/DG/KD. We have friends there, and if they had come here, we know they would have been top tier. And if we had gone there, we know we would have been top tier. So yes, quality wise and the girls they rush, State's top tier could compete with us because we are similar in that way.

No, what I am saying is that you can't compare the Tri Delt chapter at ole miss to the Tri Delt chapter at state. Every chapter is going to be different. Just as much as you can't compare ole miss kappas with kappas from other schools, etc. Every chapter is different irregardless of tier structures.

Op was trying to say that ddd's shouldn't be considered top tier at ole miss because they are not top tier at state. I'm disagreeing.

That's completely unnecessary. If you want to bash a sorority from another school, at least take it to their page. ((and anyone with high school friends at MSU knows where top girls end up.))

I have lots of friends as MSU and they would all agree. Xo KD and phi Mu are tops over there. DG used to be good, before they started rushing weird girls.

I agree about DG. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing them, but they do favor a very specific type of girl (at both schools). They are prissy, but not in a bad way. That's just the way they are. They are overachievers and others make fun of them for it. As a defense mechanism, they look down at others who don't understand them. They are not really weird, that's just how they come across to others. Because of this attitude they have of being better than those who are not overachievers, they will never be considered top tier, even though they should be. They simply rub people the wrong way.

^The girls i know in DG are anything but overachievers. I only know a couple though

I'm not even sure why we are talking about the DG chapter at MSU, but I have to think the people posting about the "weird girls" they have is either 1) the same person over and over or 2) from a small town where a an odd girl out got in. I followed my mom's foot steps at Ole Miss and pledged one of the top 3, but my sister and cousins were/are DGs at MSU, and they are far from how people are describing them on here. The chapters are totally different, and it's really hard to say how a chapter is that we are not a part of at a school we don't go to. Based on the people I know from there, I wouldn't describe this way at all! Just remember a few people don't make any chapter, it's everyone as a whole and there's a lot of diversity in any group.
