I am transferring to ole miss and my fraternity is not present at this school. I know at some schools/chapters people will accept someone as a social member who just doesn't learn the fraternity secrets. I know this isnt really common practice at most schools but was wondering if some chapters at ole miss do this.

I've never heard of this before. You can always be a houseboy for one of the sororities. ;-)

I'm not really sure how you would get caught but I know someone who did it here and it worked out fine

Awkward?? You would get the ass kicking of your LIFE and probably have to leave Ole Miss entirely. Don't think for a second that I am exaggerating. Greeks take their brotherhood & sisterhood damned seriously. And trust me, if you pledge another fraternity, they WILL find out sooner or later.
