All of the sororities give bids to girls from out of state. Your problem won't be that you are from out of state, it will be that you are from the north. Phi mu, kappa, pi phi, aopi, theta, and ADPi will be your best bets. The others will probably pass you over unless you come highly recommended by an in house alumnae. All ole miss sororities are special, so don't worry about not finding a home!

Since rush is delayed, you'll have a couple of months to get out and meet people. Your best bet it to meet girls on your hall who you could see yourself being friends with. Chances are, they know people in sororities. Try to meet some older girls that way. Also, try to get your recs from people that went to Ole Miss, or are southern. If someone the chapter knows is reputable recommends you, and you are friends with girls they are interested in, you have a better chance. Good luck to you!
