pnms look at the facts

by: tru

PNMs, the best thing to look at are the facts of where each sorority falls. That is the only true ranking. retention (shows strength in sisterhood) gpa (academic success) and number in sorority (how well liked).
The other rankings on here are just opinions of somebody that spends lots of time on here.

This is generally correct. Houses fall into groups based on these factors. Within the top, middle, and bottom groups other factors can influence where they stand since they are all so close within the groups

Gpa most closely mirrors the tier system. The others are kinda random

hard to really consider new member size because some might have more room for more pnms, but look at gpa and retention and how they are ranked

the numbers you are using are from 20/21. that data is skewed since many oos parents didn't want to pay oos tuition for their kid to sit in a dorm room while attending zoom school.
the new numbers are on the ole miss fraternity and sorority life website. not counting new members if they were added in the spring, retention in 21/22 looked like this:
ADPi lost 10
DDD lost 12
PhiMu lost 14
KD lost 15
KKG lost 15
ChiO lost 16
AOPi lost 19
DG lost 23
Alpha Phi lost 23
PiPhi lost 29

even those numbers are hard to interpret because the report doesn't say whether a girl quit or if graduated after the fall semester

since you posted the updated retention list, where is the gpa list? Your sorority must be low on that one…

i didn’t post the new gpa because the only movement was KD and ChiO switching places for 1 and 2. trust me when I say that no one - AND I MEAN NO ONE - wants to hear KD celebrating the fact they moved to #1 because their GPA from last year only dropped 0.014 points while ChiO dropped 0.042 from the year before.
now that i’m looking more closely, i see that the top three gpa fell while the other 7 went up. that pretty much sums up things on campus, too.

good job to adpi on their retention number for 21/22 - that's a really really good number for them.

Drops not always tied to the sorority experience. Retention rate drops also include December graduations, which can be a big group one year and not so big another year, and drops for financial reasons and personal/family reasons. Happens every year.

no excuses legacy sororities here, if girls loved their sororities they would not want to leave early and you choose mostly in state, ur just mad ur not at the top for retention, quit making excuses

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT PNM's need to look hard at, there is a reason retention rate is high in those sororities.
