fraternity recruitment

by: Interested

I am considering going to school at Ole Miss. I am 100 percent interested in greek life, but i am wondering if the men in the greek system will write me off as i am from California. I lived in Texas for a while, but we re-located. Is there any prejudice based off of where you grew up?

Also is there greek block seating at football games?

I don't think it matters much where you grow up, I think it's more important where you graduated from/currently live.

There isn't necessarily 'greek' block seating, but all the students tend to sit together in one section!

So will i be judged by saying I'm from California and not be taken seriously?

and thanks for the reply.

There are lots of out of state people who are Greek at Ole Miss. And by out of state, I don't mean just other southern states. Just rush, be yourself and you'll find the right fraternity for you. Good luck!
