top schools
by: helloThese last couple of posts has really shed light on the exact reason that tiers are laughable. It is said over and over that there are set rules the so called top tiers follow. They only rush girls from particular schools, that are known only by certain alumnae, or from certain towns. That is why the so called top sororities are so filled with high school cliques and is 13th grade. No school defines if a student will be a great sister. Not knowing some old ladies does not establish worth as a sister and every town has wonderful girls who are smart beautiful and leaders. Let these so called top sororities limit themselves by these rules. It leaves the truly,top girls for the other sororities. One day they will see that it takes alot more self confidence, leadership ability and personality to come to a school many miles from home where you know no one,then to go where half your high school attends and all the old ladies are pulling strings to get you their 13th grade sorority.Being safe doesn't make you more special.

Don't hate me because I grew up here. I've been coming to the grove my whole life so of course I wanted to go here. I have met a lot of different people while being here and they have taught me a lot. But I am from MS and it will always be my home no matter where I go! Guess haters gonna hate!

No hate intended glad you came here it is a great school...just saying you are no more special than girls from anywhere else. In fact there maybe girls who are smarter, nicer, prettier than you that are from MS and lots that aren't from MS. Just tired of everyone acting like just having MS on the resume makes you super sorority sally.

Sorry didn't mean to resend first message! However just for the record I didn't pledge my triple legacy house because I didn't want to be with girls from my high school-I chose a so called mid tier house which I absolutely love. My high school friends are equally as happy in their house. I have found friends in every house here and each one is in love with their house. Honestly the sororities here are all AMAZING! And no one on here can disagree about what a great university Ole Miss is-Hotty Toddy!
