Dallas girls used to get more attention during rush, but lately there have been some really great girls coming out of Houston that the top houses are snapping up. Most of the girls from Texas are coming from private schools and are from some of the best neighborhoods in both cities. If they are not private school girls they are coming from schools like Memorial in Houston or Highland Park in Dallas. It used to be that Texas girls went either Kappa or Pi Phi because those are top sororities in Texas, but that is changing. Texas girls still go Kappa and Pi Phi, but the top girls from the state are now being recruited by the top sororities.

What about girls from other Texas towns like The Woodlands, Kingwood, Katy, Austin, Tyler, San Antonio, etc. Why is it only girls from Dallas and Houston that gets mentioned?

I love a great superior post from "top tier" mean girls. TEXAS GIRLS ARE SO LUCKY THAT YOU NOW DEEM THEM WORTHY. Keep thinking you are controlling their destinies. You are delusional if you think you are getting all the "top" girls. So sorry but the truth is that TOP GIRLS from Texas and every state have been choosing yes choosing other sororities for years and will continue to do so. Girls that come from Texas aren't coming to be in 13th grade or the same high school cliques. So your self-importance doesn't matter to them.

The only Houston girls who are getting into top sororities are private school girls with little miss perfect reputations and/or Memorial high school with the same perfect reputations. Alumnae recruit these girls and will not support them unless they come from great families and are well connected. The class system is strong in Houston. All other great "normal" girls choose kappa or Pi phi. Without top tier connections, they can't get into DDD, KD, xo, or DG. Dallas girls have it a bit easier. Highland park is still prime recruiting area. The private school girls have all be well prepared for college and have their choice in where they attend college. They chose ole miss for the potential husband material.

Leave it to the self absorbed "top tier" brats to turn great "normal" into a negative cut down. I'm glad they really think they are soooooooo much more special than others. Guess what? the narrow minded alumnae don't KNOW the girls just their families. JUDGE MUCH? That is why they get so many mean girls with horrible personalities that no one like but themselves.

So sorry that the truth hurts. Top girls come from top families who send their children to top schools in top cities. Similar to the kids from Jackson. This is the south and good breeding starts in the home. Top houses leave the mean girls on the table for other houses to pick up. You all would be surprised at how little drama actually occurs is the top houses! All the girls come from similar backgrounds and understand each other. Only mean girls I see are on this site putting down top houses. I'm a KD and I can personally say that all the girls from Texas are sweethearts. We took 9 Houston girls all from great families. Most were private school girls, but none came from the same school. No 13th grade here. I believe that DDD and chi o have similar tales to tell.
