Don't base your choice on who is top/middle/bottom tier; find the house you feel is right for you. There's nothing worse than ending up in a house that you don't like! And don't let getting dropped from a house you felt like you really liked, just trust the process and you'll end up in the right house for you.

THIS! On pref night, I went to one “top” house and one “bottom” house. I ended up ranking the bottom house as number one because I felt so comfortable with the girls there and I’ve not regretted it a single day. Trolls will 100% comment that I’m lying and got cut, but that’s simply not the case. Go to the house where you could see yourself hanging without makeup, venting or crying, and being your full personality without filters.

I know the moms are just trying to help, but recruitment isn’t about ‘finding the right house for you’ or ‘go where you feel comfortable’. The sororities are the ones that choose. There are going to be many girls this week that are not going to be selected by the sorority they loved, and they are going to struggle to decide whether to stay or not. This advice, although designed to appear helpful, really isn’t.
