exceptional?
by: WonderingI've been reading a lot about PNMs who don't know anyone, are worried about getting dropped, etc. but I was just wondering, what would make a girl "exceptional" to a middle or even top tier sorority especially if they don't have many connections!
#1by: well..
#2by: It takes more
Every girl will have an above average to outstanding resume/GPA/personality/etc. If you truly know no one, you have to have SOMETHING to set you apart. Even if it's nothing crazy like modeling or interning with a senator, find something you can sell about yourself that is rememberable and will add to a chapter, like if you want to get involved with the theatre department or want to write a screenplay. Chapters love bragging on what their members are doing, even after they graduate, so if you offer something to brag about that every other girl doesn't offer, you'll be set apart. It's not a guarantee, but at least you'll stand out.
#3by: what it takes
What makes a girl exceptional? She is beautiful, poised, talented, outgoing, fun to be around, and attracts people to her. We all know the type. An exceptional girls who the top sororities are looking for is self confident and draws people to her. Grades and activities are important, but if you are boring, or insecure, nobody will want you hanging out with them. If you want a top sorority to take a second look at you, be the girl they want to hang out with.

#5by: just bringing it to
Just bringing it to everyone's attn that the post from what it takes could have been a good helpful post, but she had to add the "top" this and "top" that. It is they who have to separate themselves and act superior in every comment. So put the blame where it lies not on the ones calling you out on it.
