by: Tri delta wanna beSo, all the pretty popular girls from my high school go Tri delta. Not only at ole miss, but pretty much all over. I'm not really popular, and only average in looks but I do have a 4.0 gpa and tons of volunteer hours. What are my chances of getting a bid to Tri delta at ole miss? If I go to the spring parties and make it a point to meet as many Tri delts as possible, will that help me? College is my chance to start over and reinvent myself. What other sororities do the popular girls pledge? Theta and kappa are also popular with girls from my hometown. What are those like at ole miss?

When you ask "what other sororities do the popular girls pledge" you don't even sound like a high school senior heading to college. I'm sorry but you sound like an 8th grader heading to high school. What are you trying to prove to the hometown girls? Don't worry about what matters to people you won't even be talking to or seeing in the future. Don't worry about the sororities that matter to them. And why do you feel like re-inventing yourself? Be yourself and aim for becoming the best YOU. College is a time of growth and a sorority can be great in helping with that and enhancing your life. Find a good fit, where you can give and receive. This is your time and your life. Don't live it for the girls you knew in high school.
