people post specific questions on here just to get a negative reaction about the sorority.. kind of sad. I have many friends in kd and your description about them is not true. kd is a great sorority they compete with tri delt and chi o and put on a very good rush and get great girls. highly competitive.

phi mu dg and kappa did not do better this year than kd or any top tier sorority for that matter. why is it that middle tier always comes on here and tries to bring down ddd xo and kd? every year during rush ddd xo kd are still the top three most desired chapters so all of this stupid marketing/self-ranking that phi mu dg and kappa are doing on this troll of a site is pointless bc none of yall have "moved up" in ranks. y'all may think y'all have but once rush starts again next year ddd xo and kd will still be the chapters that girls are dying to get into. that's the way it is here at ole miss and it will take years to change that.

Really? KD has some of the best well rounded members. They get a lot of the well liked girls every year. KD/XO/DDD are about the same with some personality differences. DDD loves a party, XO is less showy, and KD is somewhere in the middle. All are good, though, and you better have a good resume/friends if you want any of these 3.

Absolutely true... same personality for all 3 and they fight over the same girls. All snotty,spoiled mean girls that were in certain cliques in a Mississippi or Memphis private schools. Only visible difference is chi o has the most non-lookers and big girls by far.Great in their own minds. Absolutely mediocre in everyone outside of this tiny area.put Chi O up against Theta in a blind resume dual and Theta would be picked as the "Top Tier" with the most desirable girls every time.

The only sorority that should remain in the top three is DDD. Phi Mu, DG & Kappa all did better than XO & KD! Things are changing at Ole Miss! That is for sure! KD wants to think they compete for the same girls as DDD and XO. Truth is, they all compete for different girls. XO takes only inhouse legacies, and KD only takes the girls their alumnae tell them to.

KD, just like DDD and Chi-O will go for the pretty, well-rounded, and smart girls. Not necessarily from in state or out of state, but having connections helps more than you'll ever know. However, I know several girls who went to KD on pref and did not choose KD for bid day, and their connections at the house stopped speaking to them. This happens at all houses, but when the KDs want girls, they want them and will stop at nothing to get them. And if they don't, don't be surprised if the friendships that you thought were real were just rush relationships and will terminate when KD isn't first on your bid card.

This is very true. I preffed KD and chose another house. My friends in KD still haven't spoken to me.

KD does not compete with Tri Delt and chi o. They usually get their leftovers. Still better girls than the mid tier houses, but after this years unfortunate pledge class, next year we should see a change in the rankings. Phi mu, kappa, and DG all did better.
