rush for out of state kid

I'm from Washington state and have been accepted to Ole Miss and visited and would like to rush a fraternity in the fall of my freshmen year. I will literally know no one but males in my family have always been fraternity members and I'm very nervous/anxious about rushing because I'm out of state but would like to get a bid from a top tier house.
