legacy

I'm a legacy to Chi O and Tri Delt but I'm from the north. I know these are two of the top houses and they usually cut northerns right away but since I'm a leg to both will that change anything. I will be there in the fall and really want to rush.

You're only considered a legacy if your mother or sister was an initiated Chi O in good standing, according to their nationals. I have several family members who were Chi O's but unfortunately not my mom or sister

Ole Miss is different than just about every other school. I was a triple legacy to one sorority on campus. There national policy was to automatically invite back legacies to at least the second round. Imagine my surprise when they dropped me after the first round! My mom and grandmother were very upset. HOWEVER, I was not upset because I knew I didn't fit in this house. I had my sights on other houses, and actually got my top choice. Don't just look at your legacy houses, you might be disappointed. Give all the sororities a chance, especially coming from the north.
