You don’t have an automatic bid to a house because you are a legacy or have high school friends in that house. The houses do the selecting and all have a criteria and if you don’t match or have any sister that speaks out against you getting a bid they move on to the next girl. There are about 2000 going through every year and about 800 don’t get bids. Most houses don’t even need to take a quota on bid day to make house quota.
