We must defund ASB

I saw this idea on another thread. We should ask the university to Defund ASB. ASB doesn’t do anything for the student body that student groups couldn’t do themselves. It only serves to create a ruling class of students and furthers the divide between the powerful and the non.

On the other side of the coin, ASB also does do nothing but take actions to make the school look bad. Our traditions are gone. There’s been no progressive change. Really, we are just more divided than ever. ASB is irrelevant to our student needs. All ASB does is divide us and cost us money. Dissolve its budget and give every student a share of the wealth.
