theta encore performance report!

- ADPi did an awesome job out there, especially for it being their first year to perform! Even though they had half as many girls as the other sororities, they still look awesome up there! It was really, really cute and they had some very talented dancers! I was very impressed, they've done a really great job so far for their first year back at Ole Miss!
- Phi Mu did not impress me at all. Their costumes didn't really make sense at all and it felt like the same 4-5 girls danced the whole time. It was very confusing and hard to follow, but they did have some very talented girls and the theme was definitely unique. I have to give them credit for dancing (twice) when their music went off, that was not easy at all. I don't think most sororities could have pulled through without their music- but phi mu rocked it and definitely showed they could do it!!! \n\n\n\n\nThetas opening dance was really fun to watch and they had some awesome dancers! Loved the music/decade theme- super cute! I thought their philanthropy event was so cool!!! Definitely one of the best here at Ole Miss. My friends and I enjoyed watching all the performances last night and we can't wait until next year! Thank you so much Theta for putting on such a cool event, all the sorority girls and viewers/audience loved it too! Such an awesome way to raise money for CASA! Love the Ole Miss Theta girls!!!!

i loved kd's performance i didn't think their theme was odd at all! they had really talented dancers i'm shocked they didnt get 1st! i'm also shocked that AOPi didn't place they did great

i have to agree. i think dg did well but not first place material.. i think it was because of their theme and the blood drive

DG was def the best - just because the costumes were so stinking cute and the whole circus theme - loved the monkeys the best. I think the talent was pretty even but their colors and flash stood out. Every group was really really good so it came down to the costume/theme. I didn't love KD's pageant theme either but the judges apparently did. Loved Chi O magic show - esp the tie dye girls and ones with the black stripes on them. Didn't like the dramatic part with the girls in black as much but they did great overall. The Phi Mu's were troopers for sure but I didn't like the costumes or theme (Alice in wonderland?). Think AOPi was the lips one and they were good too. Every group had a cute, fun routine. Good job to the pledges who spent a lot of time during a hard time of the school year practicing all those dances!

I think KD was second because you can't win two years in a row and they were awesome. DG had a stellar routine and was good all around. Chi-O was good but nothing special. I think AOPi deserved third.

I hope Pi Phi burned the american flags that they put on the ground..

AOPi won the blood drive.. not DG. They announced it before they announced the winners. KD won second because they won last year. DG was the only other sorority that matched up to them talent wise.

DG had much much better costumes, which is what put them over the edge I believe. It doesn't matter who won it last year or whatnot, it's judged each year separately.

No, it is an overall contest for entertainment. Costumes is just one category in the point system.
