Does your sorority matter?
by: HmmWill people on campus treat you differently based on which sorority you are in? Are some houses looked down upon? Does being in certain houses have social benefits/disadvantages?

Among the sororities we're all friends. Sororities are only part of the experience. You have classes and other activities with other sorority members. We don't look down or up at any other sorority. As far as the guys, the Mississippi Sororities tend to swap more with the Mississippi Fraternities. The OOS sororities tend to swap more with the OOS Fraternities. Personally I am OOS and most of my guy friends are GDI. With a few exceptions, the Fraternity guys are weird and useless. The GDIs absolutely don't care what sorority you are in, they don't understand it, think it's stupid and a waste of time and money, or truly don't care.

No it doesn’t. The most house conscious you and others will ever be is this week. You’ll see that great PNMs wind up all over the place. You can decide based on what you alone like bc within the next week or so, no one else will notice. People focus more on themselves than anyone else.

None of these things should matter to anyone.
