I didn't love phi mu at all during rush! I wanted to because I had heard good things about them- but found them kind of 'eh'. I cut them after skit. All the girls I know that chose phi mu were the kinds that didn't exactly have a better option (typically they had aopi, theta, and pi phi). Not trying to be offensive, just the honest truth.

girls that have a top 6 house during pref is going to have one good house and the rest not so good, so that makes sense, houses don't always want to compete once you get to pref soo yeah

What you said makes absolutely no sense seeing as how any individual house does not know whom other houses want/desire. Sure there can be rumors, but actually knowing would require a psychic and I think we can agree that those don't really exist ;)

I had Phi Mu, AOPi, and KD.
It was a hard choice between Phi Mu and KD, but after pref I definitely felt more at home with Phi Mu so I put them first! KD is amazing though, too!
All of the houses were great, but honestly I was least impressed with Kappa, AOPi and Pi Phi after skit if we are going to talk about that. (Phi Mu, KD, DG, Kappa, Pi Phi, AOPi is where I went). But that being said, there were TONS of girls that loved those three!
It really is all about where you personally feel most comfortable, so don't listen to tent talk during rush....this is cheesy, but.... follow your heart!

@haha when I was referencing skit I was replying to what comment #3 (posted by eh) was saying. Definitely not how I "chose my friends". Everyone has a preference and fits in to certain places better, it's just a fact. Not meaning to sound, rude, dumb, or whatever!

I'm a dude so I don't 100% get the sorority life thing but isn't choosing a Greek org basically choosing where you fit (aka your friends)? If so then why is being "impressed" with a skit part of the equation? That sounds dumb even as I type it.

Beautiful, sweet girls that love their sorority. Involved on campus. Stellar pledge class!!! One of the top 5 groups at ole miss, for sure!
