lowest GPA?????
by: ??Since at least one day of rush is going to be online I heard a lot of people say that gpa and rec letters are going to be more important what’s like the lowest GPA that the sororities will cut you for??

Most of the chapters use a 3.4 GPA as an unofficial cutoff. It's not really advertised or talked about, but for the most part, that is the "magic number". However, legacies are treated differently. A legacy can walk in with less than a 3.4 and can receive a bid to her legacy house. Some chapters will keep a legacy for 2 rounds before releasing her- each chapter has a different set of "rules" that they follow for legacies, and this can say from one campus to another.

you have to submit a copy of your transcript when you sign up for rush. a high school transcript is required to list both your weighted and unweighted gpa. ole miss, cph, and all sororities during rush only look at the unweighted.

GPAs aren’t a very good measuring stick. A MS high school 4.0 is an unweighted 3.4 at best in other states. Most kids in state don’t take a lot of advanced course because they don’t need to to get into state schools or to improve their gpa.
