Out of state odds

I’m from Florida with no connections, but I have rec letters. What is the likelihood of not even getting a bid? I’m scared

connections aren’t always necessary, but they can help! as long as you have a good resume and good recs, you should be able to get a bid! if you need connections though, just reach out to any ole miss sorority girl you can find! this summer isn’t a “silent period”, so it’s allowed. just dm them on instagram or something! they will be more than happy to talk to you and help form connections!!

As long as you are open to ALL houses you will be fine. Girls with no connections hurt themselves when they get stuck on the houses where tight connections are needed.

Reach out to actives from the chapters and show interest in their sororities!!!

Right outside of Orlando, like maybe 20 mins away. Grew up in GA tho. Only lived in FL for 4 years ^^

You’ll be fine as long as you have a good personality, can presently yourself nicely, can carry a conversation and haven’t set a bad reputation for yourself
