top fraternities
by: WonderingWhat makes KA, EX, and Sigma Nu better than everyone else? What is each fraternities individual specific reputation? KA seems to be very in state and southern, Sigma Nu is very Jackson private school based, and Sigma Chi just seems different?

KA has over 100 pledges and less than 20 are from the well known schools That means 80% are from all over. And from what my friends say, it's not about RE Lee - its that their motto is to respect God and women. Nothin wrong with that. Haters gonna hate, but KA is a great. Others are too, but that's what I know.

I understand as a KA that is the appropriate thing to say--- doesn't change the facts. I agree ur pledge class is strong but lacks diversity in a large way!!!!

They are better mostly because of connections. Freshmen know the guys and girls from high school/hometowns/sports. This makes for tight friend groups amongst very popular kids. They then go to certain fraternities/sororities because of the people they know and are comfortable with. This makes them "top" because these are the strong houses that have been on campus forever and can develop those connections. I'm from Atlanta, so it kinda applies to me too with how many ATL people come here now, but nowhere on the level as kids from Mississippi and Memphis

They are better exactly why third comment stated.
Sigma Nu has a great house, and is mostly Jackson, but is dropping.
KA has a great reputation, gets the best pledge class, but is somewhat corny and has a bunch of clones.
EX is friendly, not all in state, and is on probation.
I would say Sigma Chi and KA are tied as the best right now

ATO isn't even close to the top 3, and sigma chi is probably the best on campus. You sound like a self ranking idiot..

Agree that they have some good guys at KA but they are all from same few high schools and very southern-- not bad just lack diversity!!!!!!!
