It's been a crazy two weeks. Best two weeks of my life! I'm a Tri Delt! Are we sisters commonsense? I'm thinking not because all my sisters are incredible supportive and never made me feel like I didn't deserve a bid from them.

thinking there is a 50/50 chance there are sisters. If not DDD, then Commonsense is a KD. I'd bet my life on one of those 2 houses, even though she'll never answer or answer truthfully.

HAH actually I'm in neither of those houses!

That wasn't me who answered...I don't know why someone would pretend to be me.
And I doubt Huh is a DDD lmao

I told you, she is either an AOPi or a Theta. Those were the only two houses not encouraging girls to dream big.

No, your new here. You still think top houses are all shiny and perfect. but I PROMISE with Commonsense's attitude and demanding that girls have no say, she is top tier. And I agree with above, screams DDD or KD. That's great that you found nice supportive girls in DDD. That doesn't mean they are like to girls who don't fit with them.

I have yet to meet even one girl in ddd who isn't super sweet. Nobody is snobby and the only people who think any different haven't hung out with us. I love my sisters! Commonsense is not ddd. She is too mean.

I was there on bid day and I assure you there were nothing but happy girls! There are no new members who are unhappy and none of us feels like we made a mistake.

No one said any new members made a mistake or were unhappy in DDD. All anyone is saying is that this superior attitude of members over PNMs, and insisting certain girls will belong in bottom houses (which Commonsense said to you even), is quite common among top tier, specifically DDD and KD. You'll see after you put on a rush. And please, learn to use the reply button.

Reply button doesn't work properly on my cell phone. If I recall correctly, commonsense never said that certain girls belong in bottom houses. What she said was that not everyone will get a bid to a top house and that we should be happy wherever we end up. She said that it was hard to get into top houses. She said that the odds were not in our favor for a top house. She also said that I would never make it into "her" house. I agreed, and I still believe that I did not end up in her house. My problem with what she said was that it was discouraging and that at a time that we needed to be confident, going into recruitment, she was intimidating us. She said that we did not pick our favorites, that they picked us. Well, I did get to pick my favorite! DDD was my favorite going in and still is. I preffed DDD, DG, and xo. They were my first, second, and third choice going in. Sure, I was dropped by my fifth and sixth choice after the first round, but my favorites were always on my cards. She was wrong. We do sometimes get to pick our houses. I did!

It sounds like you had one of those near-perfect recruitments, which is great for you, but not all PNMs had the same story. If you just went through formal, you know that's a fact. There's no way you could have missed the tears, shock and disappointment as so many girl lost favorites. That's not to say they don't end up happy where they land, but those drops can be tough. It doesn't sound like you experienced just how hard it is if you kept your top three favorites all week. I agree with you that PNMs need to feel confident, but they also have to be realistic about how competitive it is. Some really aren't and come here thinking they hold all the cards. I don't think it's always because they feel special or entitled. A lot just don't realize that they'll be up against SO many girls with the same great qualities as them. They also don't understand how the system works in regards to releasing PNMs and how many the higher ranked houses are required to cut. You'll see what I mean next year when you're on the other side of recruitment. Anyway, congrats on your successful week. I know a lot of incredible girls with very impressive GPAs, resumes and recs, great personalities and very pretty looks who didn't see things go as smoothly as you did, so congrats again on your very happy outcome!

I highly doubt huh was a pnm. It's more likely that she's an alum or mom. And commonsense is probably in a top tier house which is why she made that post. her house probably knew who they wanted. But from what I did read it seemed like huh posted under various names pretending to be so shocked by commonsenses attitude.

both of you should just move on.
