you middle/bottom tier sororities sound like a bunch of whining liberals on this site. NOT everything is fair... not ever house is good... there IS a hierarchy in the greek system!!
DDD/KD/DG/XO <-- they are top and will be top until one of them does something dumb enough to get their chapter taken away..

If we put everything into 3 tiers, which we might as well, its so complicated otherwise, it looks like this:
XO/DDD/KD/DG
Kappa/Phi Mu/AOPi
Pi Phi/Theta/ADPi
Like #1 said DG is closer to the top 3, and AOPi is on the rise and is mid with ADPi coming on campus now.

Lets be honest here! I'm a DDD and while I love being considered a top tier, I have to point out that DG,Phi Mu, and Kappa all have amazing new PC's! Seriously! The new top tier should be all six of us! For the life of me I can't see any difference in all six. That is how exceptional Ole Miss is! There are too many exceptional girls to believe they can all fit in only 3 top tier houses!

I agree with AOPi, but Phi Mu is awesome nationaly, right? I don't know, but when I went through rush here a few years ago tons of my friends listed phi mu as a top choice along with Tri Delt. They were both really popular names pre-rush

Phi Mu is a great sorority at Ole Miss, but are actually not good nationally. They are only good in the south. AOPi isn't that strong nationally either, but probably more so than Phi Mu.

Uhmmm, no, they don't. AOPi is the worst sorority on campus, but they try to act like they are better than Pi Phi and Theta. AOPi lets anybody in. They are so desperate trying to act like they are mid-tier. Pathetic. They are no where close to being on the same tier with any of those sororities.

TO GreekGirl and Whoa- why such mean comments to AOPI. does it really matter to you that much to speak so unkind about someone. Dont waste your time hating another sorority. There are girls who really like it maybe not you but they do. I promise life for you will be much happier if you can see the beauty in all. Good luck! Life at Ole Miss is wonderful for so many try to see the happiness. It will make you much happier in the long run.

I've seen several comments saying one sorority or another tries to "act like they are better or top tier when they're not". Please someone explain what that looks like! Cuz I think that is a real desperate sort of statement. Not possible to act it unless you ARE it. Someone sounds worried.
