Rush as an Athlete

Are many athletes in sororities other than cheer, and is it any easier being one and going through the rush process or?

sure, cheer/dance is a sport, but i don't consider them to be student athletes.

actual athletes are like tennis, volleyball, basketball etc but very few of those care about rush. same with the guy sports, very very few football, basketball, baseball players are in frats.

i think dance/cheer helps a bit. dg automatically takes any cheerleader. lots of dance/cheer in ddd/kd/adpi.

As far as the real sports (tennis, volleyball, basketball etc) I don't think it hurts/helps any

Thank you. Are the houses understanding of the schedules athletes have that might conflict with sorority activities?

My sorority and I know a few others had girls who were athletes in sports other than cheer. I know my sorority was very understand, and I’m sure others are as well, as they understand you have responsibilities and obligations to your sport.
