DDD legacy question

I am a DDD legacy and Ole Miss DDD followed me on Instagram and girls in the house that I don’t know have been liking and commenting on my posts. Will other houses see this and not rush me?

This same question (with different sororities) gets asked about a thousand times a year, I wonder if GR posts these questions to get stuff stirred up.

If you aren’t 100% sure u want DDD, you make it known during rush. You’ll probably get asked if you have any family that was in Greek life, just say something like “my so-and-so was a ____, but I’m open to joining wherever I feel most home.” Hope this helps!!

Not necessarily. If another house sees this they’ll know you’re being rushed by DDD, but if they want you, they’ll fight for you. Especially if they like you. More than likely they’ll know you’re a legacy, but this doesn’t prevent other houses from wanting you

I have sent this happen a lot. Are you an Ole Miss DDD legacy? If so, that means a lot more and just being a DDD legacy. Regardless, like someone said above, if you don't want to be a DDD you can let it be known that you are open to other houses. Also, just because girls in DDD are following you and commenting on your pics doesn't mean that other houses won't want you. If they want you too I am sure that they will also be fighting to "steal" you from DDD. Which is a great scenario for you in that you will be the one who gets to choose the sorority that you want.

Also don’t assume that means you will get a bid to any house that follows you. With the new rules houses will be following far more girls than they can give bids to. Think about it - house A has 300 active members. If all 300 members follow girls they are going to be following way more girls than quota.

By following you they are just trying to get to know you better. Keep an open mind.

I think you missed that she said the tri delt account is following her not just members. That’s a little different.

She also said girls in the house are liking and commenting so I assume they are also following her. Having the “house account” follow her just means the rush team has her name - still not a bid guarantee.
