There aren’t actual ranks. It’s pretty much all opinion based at ole miss because all of the houses are good. KD has always been said to be top, but it doesn’t really mean anything, because most girls go whatever house they want to go / are most comfortable in because any house is a good house. The top 6 (that you usually see differ in the rankings) are KD, DG, PM, DDD, XO and KKG. Views on which of these are “top” changes for each person’s opinions of the houses, so there’s no true official rank. Even so, aphi, pi phi, adpi, and aopi are all super good houses too filled with amazing girls that just generally get overlooked for reasons such as for not having connections or having low grades in high school. This is why you always see such vastly different rankings on this site, because there are none. Any post is opinion based.

it's because sororities like DG live on this site so they down vote everything that doesn't lie and put them on top. The rankings on top have been the same for years now, that's why you don't see "new rankings". Bottom rankings change a little, then again it's bottom so who cares.

Upper Mid: KKG/PHIMU/DG
Lower Mid: PIPHI/APHI
Bottom: ADPI/AOPI

I don’t really think of sororities in rankings, more that some are more desirable than others. However, based on whether you are from Mississippi/neighboring southern states (ex: AL,TN, LA, AR, GA etc) or are from a non southern state, everyone will have their own version of what is more desirable than others. I will go through the list of sororities and give different view points of what makes a sorority desirable.

Chi O: very Mississippi/legacy/southern state desirable. Typically legacies want to go to their legacy house (not all!) and this happens to be a big legacy house for MS/southern girls. I am from NY and while I did enjoy myself at Chi O’s rush, I didn’t desire this house as much as southern girls may have. That’s just because I didn’t have a deep connection like some of the other girls did.

Pi Phi: lots of girls from all over the country like this house, I really enjoyed it and would’ve been happy here. A lot of Texas girls desire this sorority since it is very popular at Texas schools and they recognize it from home. Mid western/northern and southern girls also enjoy this house.

KKG: a largely desired house among Texas girls since it is very popular in Texas schools. However girls from everywhere are known to join this house and is a very desired house during rush among freshman. Kappa has done a great job in recent years with social media and promoting their brand and that really brings them a lot of interest during rush. (My house and kappa are always competing for a lot of the same girls every year so I know this for a fact). Based on a prior poll, kappa is one of the more commonly desired houses among freshman.

Tri Delta: another house that is desired by southern girls and legacies. They have the history with tri delta, know girls who are tri deltas and have a deep connection. Again, as a northern girl I enjoyed myself at tri delta’s rush but I did not have a deep connection with them as other girls did.

AOPi: they have girls from everywhere but are noticeably desired but mid western girls. They tend to know girls in the house and girls who are from home. AOPi tends to interest a mix of girls from everywhere.

Phi Mu: They also take girls from everywhere but do have a strong MS and southern legacy presence. This is because MS, GA, LA and TN have strong phi mu chapters at their schools so girls know and have connections to phi mu. Based on a prior poll, phi mu is one of the more commonly desired houses among freshman.

KD: very desired house among freshman. They tend to do very well in Greek competitions and are involved on campus.
Based on a prior poll, KD is one of the more commonly desired houses among freshman. They have a great social media presence and promote their brand as a chapter. They mostly accept southern girls since they have more connections or are legacies but there are some non southern girls and non legacies in the chapter as well.
