Stop asking for Recs on FB
by: JustStopStop your mom from making posts in public groups for your recs! It doesn’t do any good for complete strangers to send a rec. No one wants to recommend someone and then take the heat when they embarrass the chapter. Recs from strangers in other states will get you nowhere at OM!

This is not a big deal. If you need a recommendation for recruitment but don’t know any alum of a certain chapter, there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking on Facebook. Most women writing recommendations will ask for your resume and ask you a few questions to get to know you better. It’s totally fine to ask on Facebook
