What’s the deal with ADPi and being a double legacy?

by: Curious

My mom and sister are both ADPI legacies at Georgia and they have a good rep at UGA but I’ve heard a lot of different opinions on ADPI here. What do I need to know going into rush??

Every sorority is good here! However, go where your heart is. You may not vibe with ADPi and that’s okay! Just be sure to tell other sororities that you’re keeping your options open if they ask if you’re a legacy. Legacy status does not mean that you have to go that certain sorority!

Adpi is a great house with a great history! And you can say that about all the houses at Ole Miss.

The very best advice I can give to any legacy is that you go into recruitment and do what feels right for you. Regardless of legacy status at any house. Just because a mom, aunt, sister, grandmother, were all in ABC house it doesn't mean it's the right place for you. Or it could be the perfect place for you. But too many people think that they have to be in a house because it's the family tradition and they don't want to let anybody down. But I would say that this is YOUR greek experience, your college experience, and yours only. Don't let anybody tell you differently. People are always surprised by how they feel during recruitment vs. what they thought they were going to feel.

Good luck, and I hope you find your home - ADPi or anywhere!
