ka legacy

My dad was a KA at Wake Forest and Uncle was KA at Clemson, is that even worth mentioning or should I just forget about it. I'm fairly sure I could get a bid without it, it'd just be nice to rest a little easier during rush. Also, will the fact that I'm from SC have any effect on whether I get a bid or not, cause I hear the rush process is kinda selective and dog eat dog? I'd be pledging in the fall of next year if that makes any difference. Thanks for the info, Hotty Toddy!

Thanks guys I appreciate it, but when is it a good idea to contact the rush chair cause I'd like to at least tour the house or something when I come to visit ole miss especially since it's a 10 hour drive for me. I'm thinking of visiting November or December.
