DDD has some of the most lovable and sweetest girls on campus! You are fooling yourself if you think they are the only sorority on campus involved in a scandal! With 300+ girls, there are bound to be a few who make mistakes!

So what you are saying is that both DDD and KKG saw a young woman they did not know very well fall down and get hurt and NO SISTER IN EITHER HOUSE helped her out?

Seriously...this makes the whole thing look bad for BOTH houses. SHAME ON YOU!

Okay everyone needs to calm down about the DDD transfer. She transferred two weeks before the date party that everything went down. This date party was with KKG and DDD, and most people in our sorority did not know we even had a a transfer because it was so recent. DDDs thought it was a KKG and KKGs thought it was a DDD. No one knows where the ONE picture came from. It was just unfortunate that she did not know anyone, but completely unfair to say her "sisters" were not there to help her out. How are we supposed to help a "sister" we had no idea was even our sister. Everyone needs to stop their judging tri delt is a great house, along with all the other house on campus. If you keep talking it down your only making yourself look threatened by the tri delts. She decided to transfer once again, and I don't blame her, but why don't you do the poor girl a favor a stop talking about it so maybe she can put all this behind her.

basically, according to this insider who just posted, at this point it's not even about sisterhood, it's about BASIC HUMAN DECENCY and not helping someone who obviously needed help? Woah, things just turned up a notch.

Plus instead of letting this thread die you embarrass your sister further by posting all the details about how no one in either chapter had the decency to help her when she was hurt?

Wow, that speaks volumes.

Ole Miss sororities pride themselves in being exceptional. Yes, there are a few bad apples in every bunch, but the majority of the girls at Ole Miss work really hard to maintain their grades, appearances, community activities, AND REPUTATION! When anyone is FALLING DOWN DRUNK you tend to shy away from that person. It's okay, to go out and have fun, but it is not okay to fall down drunk, throw up, or pass out! Why any sorority would want this girl in their ranks is beyond me.

Heres the deal.. she was loaded, sororities knew which one she was in because of the color of her wrist band. There was no question about it. Yes girls helped her when she waxed it on the way to the bus no they weren't carrying bandaids like moms, but they did ask her if she was ok and help her up and she drunkenly said she was fine. She then proceeded to make out once and bleed from her wounds while she was on the bus. Again no first aid kit in purses of 19 year olds , shocking I know. Making out while bleeding was her own deal not the responsibility of any other college girl to say "hey dont make out". Then a boy took the picture and posted it without the knowledge of anyone. And the boyfriend should said lets hold off til we get you cleaned up. Shame on the girl for getting sloppy drunk but thats where the blame stops.

Gee I thought lots of people make mistakes and this is when you need to help someone out. Whether she's your sister or not.

Then again, I'm just trying to be the best person I can be. Others probably don't have the same goals.

"Give you the shirt off their back" but when actually put in the situation won't help you when you're down? Hilarious!

Time for you to hop off and go over to greek chat where all the other alumae and moms are hanging out!

We get it! Please don't hate on the entire sorority because a few girls didn't want to get throw-up or blood on their clothes. She had a date, and he was much better suited to physically pick her up off the ground!!!

Tri deltas are some of the sweetest, nicest girls on campus. They will literally give you the shirt off their back! Everywhere you go you see tri delts in large groups, having fun, loving each other!!!!!

I was one of the people who made a response earlier. Btw, I am a guy who goes here. I know that there have been multiple people calling you out because I only made one comment. The rest were made by other people.

I think sometimes when a group acts in an inappropriate manner, other people are willing and should to call them out on it. This was terrible what happened to that girl and at least you're willing to take some responsibility for it instead of attempting to shift the blame, which is classless and speaks to the poster's character.

I do think the tridelts on this board could have handled the situation better. Instead of becoming so defensive, they should have admitted they messed up in the first place.

Hopefully they realize what they did wrong and have taken steps so that this won't happen again and to foster an actual sisterhood within the group.

The Tri Deltas have paid a huge price for our mistakes. This matter was handled quickly and efficiently inside our house. We were all sorry it happened! We are excited about getting new sisters this week and we don't want what happened last year to reflect poorly on them!

Sounds like somebody of jealous of the tri delts. I can't imagine any other reason you would be hating on them so bad for ONE mistake!

I'm sure you have even made a mistake or two in you lifetime! Get over it and move on, quit spreading your hate on this page!

If there are any PNM or potential transfer girls reading this, please know that ddd is a top sorority at ole miss. They are constantly under attack by others. They put on a very, very good rush and everybody feels loved and everybody wants a bid. Unfortunately not everybody gets a bid and feelings are hurt. Sometimes when people are hurt by a group, they attack it.
