by: transferstudent

Hi ladies! I am a tri delta in California, but I'm looking to transfer to ole miss (closer to home). What is DDD like there?

Tri delta is a top tier house at Ole Miss. Very hard to get into, very hard to transfer into as well. They do allow affiliates, but you will have to start over and prove yourself again. Most Ole Miss top tier houses are like this! You might fit right in, or you might always feel like an outsider simply because you didn't have to earn your position by going through Ole Miss's very competitive rush.

Its a well known fact that girls start at schools with less competitive recruitment knowing that they will eventually transfer to Ole Miss. Somehow girls think it will be easier this way to get into a top tier house. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

Bloody girl did transfer in. That's why none of her sisters came to her rescue when she needed help. She wasn't one of them.

Wow that comment says all I need to know about your sororities character and sisterhood. Pathetic.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Ole Miss sororities all have great sisterhood and great panhellenic spirit! The only time we really get competitive is during recruitment, and we all work hard to attract the BEST girls!

It's hard when a girl transfers in. Before any decision is made to transfer schools (if wanting to affiliate with a sorority), you need to come visit and hang out with DDD's here. If you are able to fit in and make friends, then there will be no problems! The problem most girls have affiliating is that no two chapters are the same. We all join sororities based on our personalities and where we best fit. A DDD transfering from another school might not be a good fit here. Most girls have no problems, but there are always a few who stick out like a sore thumb. Come and visit and see for yourself!!!

bloody girl is a girl who transfered into DDD last spring. She got wasted on a date night, or swap, or some chapter event and fell down drunk on rebel ride (our school bus system). Apparently no one helped her. Eventually her date helped her up. Then bloody girl started making out with her date, bloody knees and all. Her sisters posted pictures of her bloody makeout session on social media. Went viral!

Not that big of a deal, she survived, but DDD suffered the consequences.

THAT'S HORRIBLE! I feel so badly for her and can't imagine doing that to my enemy. What kind of a sisterhood is that?!?

Apparently a sisterhood that didn't want to associated themselves with a girl so drunk she fell down on a bus then proceeded to makeout with her date without a care in the world. Right or wrong, transfering in to any Ole Miss sorority is tricky. Chi O / KD/ DG also are very leary of outsiders.

you are obviously a troll and not in a sorority at Ole Miss. You can't possible be - (considering Rush is going on as we speak) and all girls associated with sororities, PNM and the entire greek system are too busy to write comments like yours!

I'm a mom who was antsy about rush starting and thought I would just pop on here and pass the time. A little upset with what I'm seeing!

You should probably not pass judgement on sororities that you obviously don't know a thing about!

Plus, it would be an indication of how someone can expect to be treated by them. People make judgements all the time (including you, I am sure). This website is no different.

That's the kind of "sisterhood" tridelt has -- it's non-existent and has self-centered girls.
