Just wondering

I would say that the “most desired” among incoming freshman do not always match the rankings that are always posted on here. For example, tri delta and chi o are always going to be “ranked” among the top on this site because of history on campus and such. But if you were to ask which houses freshman girls actually hope to get into, the ones you would most likely hear are KD, Phi Mu and Kappa and DG. Not that there is anything wrong with the other houses, and plenty of girls want and are happy in other houses. This is just the most common I hear among freshman girls throughout my time with Ole Miss Greek life.

I agree with above poster. I know plenty of girls who preferred houses not listed as top on these rankings. There are girls who are legacies to houses other than XO, DDD and KD. Many girls want the houses that are more popular where they are from. Some have friends in other houses. All the houses are great here - all have fun activities, strong Nationals and good sisterhood.
