tell me why they are top
by: CuriousI just read through all these threads and the argument about DDD is confusing. On campus, it seems they are solid middle with a huge pull from certain hometowns. But, there is def a group on here that insists they are top . Sooooo.... why are they top? If you think that, then tell us why???

The truth is : top is subjective. It’s a personal preference. I know several girls who weren’t impressed with ddd or xo and really wanted KD or kappa. Those were their “top” choices. Another girl came wanting XO or PM and nothing else. It’s all personal preference. I liked ddd and honestly would have been happy and made friends in any house here.

top isn't subjective, sure you can have your opinion but keep in mind your opinion is can be wrong.

they bash them because they cant be them. and everyone wants to be top.

When I went through recruitment in 2012 I was vaguely aware of rankings and who was supposed to be “top” but I wasn’t all too impressed by most of who were supposed to be top houses. I would say I ranked them as follows
DG
DDD
Kappa
AOII
PM
Pi Phi
Theta
XO
KD
It seems things are a lot different now from when I rushed but point being even though KD and XO were and are “top” houses I just didn’t feel at home there. They probably didn’t vibe with me either and that’s fine lol. You should desire whatever house makes you feel like you belong there whether it’s a “top” house or not, otherwise you’ll be absolutely miserable
