please stop bashing

I never get on this site because the vast majority of its content is absurd, but I’ve heard a lot about things being posted lately and felt like I needed to share my thoughts. Feel free to disagree because I’m sure you will. This year without variable quota ROCKED, for both PNM and active. Yes, I get that it was strategic to a certain degree and served a specific purpose. Without it, we all got the girls we wanted and the girls that wanted us. Variable quota mostly forced girls to join sororities they didn’t want to be in, which is why so many girls dropped in MANY different houses. With that being said, I think we all had a good rush. Obviously I’m only in one chapter, but my friends in “top” and “bottom” houses all love their new pledge classes. Stop hating on Aphi for whatever reason, they’ve done an awesome job here being as new as they are. Stop hating on DG for whatever reason, they consistently pledge great girls and contribute a lot to campus. Stop hating on Chi O, they’re a tight knit group that love their chapter. Stop hating on Kappa for a reputation that is a part of the past, they always put on a great rush and get great girls for that reason. Stop putting certain houses at the top just because that’s what you “heard”, because every PNM has a completely different opinion. Let’s be honest, if you’re a “top girl” for a certain house they are going to make sure you have a great experience. If you’re not, they don’t put in as much effort. I understand there will always be “tiers”, but bashing a particular house because of your opinion is the exact toxic behavior that played a large part in a house losing their spot here on campus. Thanks! Hopefully I will never return to this website!
