date swaps / affiliation

I would like to know this as well

Fraternities and sororities are not affiliated.

I graduated in May and from experience of chapters socializing in my PC: also it’s good to note that it doesn’t automatically make you friends with guys in a fraternity because your chapter might swap with them... these chapters usually swap and are social amongst one another.

ΔΔΔ- ΣN, ΣΧ, KA mostly (sometimes ΦΔΤ)
ΧΟ - ΣN, ΦΔΤ, KA (sometimes.... ATΩ.... sometimes... there were a group of girls)
KΔ - ΣN, ΣΧ, ΑΤΩ, KA and sometimes KΣ
DG - ΣΧ, ΑΤΩ, ΚΣ, KA and sometimes ΣΝ
KKΓ - ΣN, ΣΧ, ΚΣ, KA
φΜ - ΑΤΩ, ΚΣ, ΣΧ, Δψ, ΠΚΑ and occasionally ΣΝ
ΑΟΠ - ΒΘΠ, Δψ, ΚΣ, ΦΨ, ΠΚΑ and maybe AΤΩ
ΑΔΠ - φψ, ΣΠ, ΠΚΦ, ΠΚΑ and ΔΨ
ΠΒΦ - ΑΤΩ, ΚΣ, ΠΚΑ, BΘΠ
AΦ - honestly hard to tell, but maybe AΤΩ, ΚΣ, ΠΚΑ and ΠΚΦ.

The reality is, all girls and guys make friends. You just have to make friends it doesn’t actually matter who your chapter socializes with. My best guy friends were in a fraternity my chapter only swapped with one (and no one showed up to that swap if I recall correctly. You shouldn’t join a chapter based on the social exchanges with fraternities, but I feel like this is pretty accurate. If you don’t think so, this is simply the opinion of a former sorority member who graduated in May.

This also changes a bit each year depending on girl/guy friend groups. I'm social chair and we will mix with new fraternities depending on whether our sisters request them or vice versa. None of this is written in stone for us.

Now that pledge classes have been determined will the fraternity/sorority affiliations stay the same? Do they change from year to year?

Chi O, KD, and DDD usually swap every year with Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, KA, and Phi Delt. If one of those fraternities is on probation, which has happened the past few years, their 4th swap will be with someone like ATO, Kappa Sig, or Pike.
