Kappa and Piphi are top houses at most Texas schools esp UT and SMU. No different than Jackson and Memphis girls wanting KD. When they move back home they want to have been in a “top” house and KD and DDD aren’t as strong in Texas.

I know girls from there in every sorority except AOPi. Not saying there aren't any I just don't know them. Seem to be a lot in KD, Kappa, and Pi Phi. Several in DG, DDD, and Phi Mu.

The richest HP girl I ever knew, who was also stunning and sweet, was a Theta. Her family was filled with women who'd been Theta at UT.

Will say Texas rich is way different than Mississippi rich. Like your daddy’s job at the Jacksonville law firm is about what an HP housekeeper probably makes.

Miss is one of the poorest states and Texas one of the richest so you can’t really compare the two when it comes to money.

Most HP girls I know go either Tri Delt or Chi O, but a lot will also go kappa or pi phi because they’re all particularly good in Texas. However, they do go wherever, so it really just depends where you have connections!
