✋ tryna beat da system

by:

Look.. there’s no doubt ole miss has best recruitment anywhere. Just go where u feel at home. Where u have things in common so u end up happy where u land. In the end u want to be where u make friends and have a great experience. U don’t want to be in a place you don’t belong. It’s not about the sorority it’s about you. Look at it as them lucky to have you not the other way around.

I don’t want to be picked over by a bunch of girls who get to decide if I’m good enough or not. If you want me you need to act like it. Why do we give them all of the power anyway?

Agree with OP. Don’t pick based on “tiers”. Go with your heart or else you may not like where you land. Be happy those sororities cut you- it means those chapters don’t see you as a fit. It is a blessing! I promise. Keep and open mind and give everyone a chance.

This is nonsense. The PNM doesn't get to choose where she lands, so she can fall in love with a house and it can feel like 'home', but that sorority might not choose her. Lots of girls will end this week feeling out of place and unconnected to the house they end up in. The best advice is to go with the flow and when it's over, chin up and start meeting as many girls in your new sorority as you can. Try to find your tribe within the sorority. Joining a Sorority is about meeting people, making friends, and developing close bonds with your fellow sisters. If you don't plan to do that you are wasting everyone's time including your own.
