If anyone even cares lol.
DDD - didn't even talk to me. obviously they know who they want. they didn't try to play nice or act like they even cared about me. As ironic as this sounds, this just made me want them. I guess you want what you can't have?
KD - where super nice, well prepared and can tell they really put in effort. but with that all said, they came off hella fake. I don't think their goal is to make you like them, their goal is just to make you think they are the best, so they were an easy out for me (and I'm sure i was an easy out for them lol). But will say if most PNMs can get any house, this is their #1 dream house.
XO- really sweet girls. I admit not top tier looking, but really nice and unlike KD, these girls were genuine. I know mommy class of '88 has their girls picked out already, but that didn't stop these girls from wanting to try to be my friends. By far my 1st choice, but I'll admit the inevitable: I'm not on their list.\n\n\n\n\nDG - thought i'd like them, but nope. best house. they have a few girls (cheerleaders) they like to show off, but most girls were awk. certainly not their self described top tier (laughs) and I went in thinking they were top of mid tier, but I'm not buying that either. Looks like a lot of their cheerleaders dropped cheerleading (i think they didn't like the coach) so DG doesn't have much to offer, struggling house.
KKG - all my friends (we are OOS) loved kappa. I'm not too sold on them though. obviously better than dg, but I'm not too big on parties so I might feel a bit left out here. they seem to have friend groups inside kappa that they hang with so I'm not sure how well connected the whole house is.
Phi Mu - loved them. nice girls. Aside from XO and DDD (don't have a shot at either) I think I have a decent shot at Phi Mu. I don't see many bffs types, but see everyone get along here. #1 realistic house (don't have a shot at xo or ddd)
PiPhi - their new class was great but the other girls were just there. I agree this is becoming the new aopi and being just there. But I didn't find anything wrong about this house. Probably the only house I couldn't find anything negative about. But there wasn't too many positives either.
Aopi - nice girls but let's be honest they are struggling and struggling big. My prediction is this becomes the new theta. A lot of people went in here being their least favorite house and didn't give them a shot, which is sad. Nice girls but unfortunately that's all that's here. By far the worst house (if you don't count theta's house as Kappas for this year).
Adpi - up swing house. a lot of not connected girls will pick adpi because they are a bit intimidated by aphi and obviously don't want aopi. felt they were like like dg where they show off a few girls but the house is full of mostly awk girls.
Aphi - cared about looks more than anything. sort of that new wave thing, they don't comfort to southern ways. prettiest girls of all houses. one of the nicest houses. for being the house with super far OOS girls, they do hold it together well. obviously the outcast house (not outcast like theta, that was outcast for a different reason)

The original poster is not a PNM. It’s either a DDD or a DDD mommie. Sigh. Just trying to make certain houses sound bad and make DDD sound like they are top tier. This poster has posted here before and has said some of the same things about houses. DDD is very insecure this year which is totally understandable after the last two pledge classes.

Definitely not a DDD. Didn’t speak highly of them, or any chapter really. Also, clearly not a PNM. I’m going with someone who has already finished Ole Miss or goes to another school. Clearly, salty because she got cut from all of the good sororities during her rush experience. Maybe if she had a better personality and attitude....

My sorority mentioned negatively here and although disappointing to hear, I hope to improve from the criticism. Maybe they came at end of day when all were exhausted? Mayve she got a sister that wasn’t the best fit for her? Whatever. I’m bummed but will learn from it.

I had a completely diff take than the op
Kd dg and ddd were my fav after the 1st round but I didn’t get any of them back
Phi mu aphi and pi phi were my next fav but I only got piphi back
Kappa aopi and adpi were my least fav but i got aopi and adpi back and still didn’t connect with either. I thought I’d have more options at this point and don’t know if I even want to go back

Didn’t get them back either but I didn’t connect w them either. They were nice but I could tell by the girls I talked to that they were probably the ones they have talk to girls they aren’t interested in.

You've spent about 45 minutes with each sorority in a fast paced stressful blur. How do you know if you connected or not? You've only met a very small number of people from each. If you aren't planning to give your remaining sororities a chance it would be better for you to drop out and leave a place for someone who wants to participate in Greek Life.
