how do the schedules work?

Is the schedule based on how I listed houses and how houses listed me? If I have 6 houses for philanthropy round why is it 2 one day and 4 the next? Is it a coincidence that one of my bottom ranked houses is on day one?

No, it has nothing to do with any rankings. There are so many pnm's going to so many houses and some houses have more party slots than others so you are just plugged into what works on the overall schedule. Recruitment is a massive operation.
