The student government is so corrupt and useless. Poor DG had a position stolen from them, and now our campus will not be represented by who we chose.

what's hilarious is putting KD in the same sentence as DG.
that's like putting doctor and janitor in the same sentence.

Ummm, an AOP won HC Queen.
Of the five Ole Miss Favorites: 2 were DGs, 1 XO, 1 DDD, and 1 ADP.
The Greek community was well represented.

I'm sure they have something equally silly, I know they have the "Machine" and helping some airhead win Homecoming Queen is considered a big deal.
(I suspect you thought I was from Bama...no, although I am sure a bunch of the criticisms are)

I’m a PNM so I’m not an insider. I do feel bad for the candidate who was disqualified after she actually won the election. I saw a picture of the card attached to the flowers that were sent by DG to all of the sororities and it didn’t have any candidate’s name on it. It was just wishing everyone a great recruitment week and reminding everyone to vote. It didn’t say to vote for a specific candidate, so I saw nothing wrong with it. Also, the candidate had no knowledge of it apparently. What’s wrong with reminding people to vote in an election in order to increase voter participation no matter who you plan to vote for?
I just heard KD was being catty about it and couldn’t take losing so they complained about it. That’s really unfortunate. The disqualified candidate definitely handled things with dignity. Not that I would get a bid from KD, but if that’s how they I operate, I wouldn’t fit in.

That analogy made no sense
Bottom line: the disqualification was silly. Encouraging people to vote is different from promoting a specific candidate.

Wow, really? A doctor and a janitor? If you wanna know what KD is all about, #1’s reply is about as perfect as you can get to see them for what they are. That’s just cruel.
