just know what your getting into before you pledge

I know sorority life seems amazing and don’t get me wrong there are so many great parts about it. But I want all PNMs to know that it’s a lot of work to join a sorority. Y’all will have weekly meetings, chapter, grade requirements, you’ll also have things like financial responsibilities to pay your dues. In the spring you will have rush practice most days after school and every day in the beginning of fall semester.
Being in a sorority takes a ton of your time and energy. Please don’t think you can just join to have fun. It’s also not all glitz and glamor. Girls can be mean. Not everyone will get along (this is in every chapter)
I’m not telling you to not go Greek. Because you should!! Just understand that it’s a time commitment and it takes a ton of work.
