Not as many as last year considering the culture around here right now and what we are known for. Enrollment is down. Not everyone wants to come here like they used to in the past. A heck of a lot of incoming freshmen this year are from OOS.
Sorry but you asked

So you’re an admissions rep? I know there are tons of problems here right now but how do you know rush is going to suck so bad?

It’s pretty bad this year. Ole Miss has become one of the worst SEC schools in just the last three years. Not prestigious like it once was....

Won't know till rush.

School admissions has dropped for the past two years. Which is a very bad sign, every other SEC school has either maintained or increased.

But GDI movement has been gaining edge year after year. With that said, expect low number.

I think the biggest problem isn't low admission rates or low rush numbers, it's people transferring out.

I"m not naming names, but when you have a triple legacy sigma nu who's granddad was senator and has a building on campus named after him....when you have this kid transfer OUT. It's a bad sign, a very bad sign.

There is no GDI movement LMAO. There is just a lame football team so the appeal is gone. Ole Miss has been THE safety school for every kid who wanted an SEC school experience but couldn't get into UGA, UF etc. or didn't care about academics in the first place. These are the kids who want to rush who are going elsewhere.
