Ok, let's get this out of the way. There are two theories here.
OLD SCHOOL:
Top: DDD, KD, XO
Mid: DG, Phimu, KKG, AOPi
Bottom: APhi, ADPi, Theta
NEW SCHOOL:
Top: DDD/KD
Mid: DG/Phimu/KKG, XO, APhi
Bottom: Aopi, ADpi\n\n\n\n\nThe old school theory is what everyone believes to be true. The new school theory is what Beth, the prom queen from no where Kansas thinks is true because she's been to Ole Miss for a week and lives on GreekRanks.
(1) DDD (>,=,<) KD debate. DDD has been the top house for the past 20 some years (it was XO before DDD). KD has done better in the last 3-4 years (Aside from last year). So yes, the KD house might have better girls currently, but DDD has more money, a better house and the argument against KD is that it's the by far the WORST sorority nationally at Ole Miss. It was started in Memphis, and aside from here and Memphis, very very few schools even have a KD.
(2) XO. Yes everyone will question it, but they are still top. Don't ask why, just accept it. PS 99% of the ppl questioning it are DGs.
(3) DG/Phimu/KG. Honestly there isn't that much difference to say one is better than the other. All 3 are solid mid tier houses.
(4) AOPI - slowly becoming the theta, they have done nothing and have gotten forgotten over the years. In my opinion the last house.
(5) ADPi - was the last house when theta left but had a great class this year and a great house. Still bottom tier though.
(6) Aphi - again get's hated on by uglies who can't get in. They are the clear choice "reality check house" i.e. you come here as a non legacy without connections and you are left with the usual (aopi, adpi, aphi) at this point 9 out of 10 girls will pick aphi.
Commentby: No worries
The entire bottom tier focus has been created by a Madison Mississippi Mom of an Alpha Phi who is trying to GR Alpha Phi off the bottom. These Mississippi Moms are insane.

KD is strong nationally. Other than in Texas they are strong all over especially in the south at schools like Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, UGA, FSU. They are also good at some private schools like Rollins, Furman and Wofford. Yes the same could be said (mostly) for a lot of ole miss sororities but it just isn’t true that KD doesn’t have a strong national reputation.

The Bama chapter has slipped a lot. They rely on their old rep too much and aren't that open to OOS/OOR girls. They take them because they have to to make quota, but the A-list old-money debutante types don't associate with the "filler girls."
At FSU, UF, and UGA, they recruit based on looks. Lots of ditzy blondes with tans and Chiclet teeth.

You are kidding I hope. Very few Ole Miss girls have the SAT scores needed to get into UF and UGA or even FSU, so you might want to get your facts straight before you put down any sororities at those schools.

Let’s be honest. Everyone will have their own opinion as to which one they think is the top house at ole miss. Some may say it’s KD some may say it’s DDD some may say it’s Chi O. It’s all just an opinion and there is not factual top house. Every year pledge classes come and help that house be the best it can be so whatever PC 18 pledge class was best last year is the top house. And whoever gets the best pledge class in 2019 will be the top house. But again, that’s all opinion based.

The only people worrying about who is top tier is the old KD, DDD and Chi-O Moms (and apparently the Madison Alpha Phi Moms). The rest of us are getting on with our lives which includes a lot of other activities, too many to focus on this one element of our life.

Why just the Chi-O Moms? This rank is all over the place. Most of these rankings are just the opinions of insecure women who couldn't move on from their college days.

A big thanks to all the old Mississippi Moms who continue the tier battles 25 years after they left college. We actually have way too much to do and have a life outside of our sororities - but since you old ladies apparently have nothing else of value in your life - we understand your obsession and have compassion for your sad lives.
