oos question
by: oosSo if I'm oos and have no ties whatsoever to ole miss and any ofnthe sororities am I out of luck when it comes to recruitment?

I'm an alum and send out lots of recs on PNMs. ALL of my Ole Miss girls in recent years were OOS, and except for one who knew two sorority members, none had any ties to Greek Life. None of my Ole Miss PNMs were legacies either, except for one but the sorority she was a legacy to doesn't have an Ole Miss chapter. Some had smoother recruitments than others (it's like that with all my PNMs no matter where they rush), but everyone had a good outcome. Every Ole Miss sorority has much to offer. Keep an open mind, put your best foot forward and stick with the process, even if a favorite chapter drops you. The reason most bidless PNMs in the SEC end up that way is because they choose to drop out of recruitment. Keeping all the above in mind, and provided all your duckies are lined up (grades, recs, social media not questionable), you should be successful. Good luck!
