ole miss
by: Your lossI chose to enroll at another SEC school due to the lack of Panhellenic unity I witnessed at Ole Miss on the several visits I made there last year. I have active friends in several sororities there, including the ones perceived as "top tier." It seemed as though they were still so cut-throat and competitive against other houses long after the dust had settled. Ole Miss was the only school in this region that displayed this type of caste system. Why can't they all just get along?

Reality but there's going to be "cut-throat" competitiveness at ANY SEC school when it comes to Greek. Kind of dumb for you to transfer in my opinion. Sadly there is no such thing as Greek unity.. It's not in human nature.. There's a tier to everything in life if you think about. You should probably transfer to a school without greek

I had friends in 'top tier' sororities at Ole Miss but attended another SEC school and joined a top tier house there. After many conversations with my Ole Mss friends I realized that my school was even more competitive amongst houses. ALL of the SEC schools have very competitive but also strong Greek systems.
