new sorority
by: helpwhat would it be like joining adpi?? better or worse then the lower houses like aopi and theta?

Worse. Even though theta and AOpi are the newest houses, they've still been around for 30+ years. And it makes a huge difference that they actually have houses. No house means no meal plan, no chapter room, no living in the house, etc.. Also, ADpi is trying to get a full chapter (like literally 300 girls) so they'll likely have no standards on who they pick, so they probably won't get the most desirable class.

This is a once in a lifetime chance to become a founder of a sorority chapter. Not a lot of people can say that, and since its a brand new organization the founding pledge class has to ability to take it far or come up short. Yes youll be the newest chapter on campus but if you bring together the right mix of girls itll only take a few years to move up in the rankings. Houses like aopi and theta have had years to get it togther but they just arent recruiting the quality girls they need to make things better, or are simply too lazy to try and measure up. On the other hand, adpi will literally have hundreds of girls from alabama, tennessee, mississippi state , and southern miss helping build their foundation and make them a solid chapter.

ADPi is NOT taking just anyone who gets cut out of rush or does not get their top picks. They are going to have an "interview" process to select they members they won't so they can establish a good reputation early. They are building a house, and with Alpha Phi joining campus in 2015 ADPi will not be the "new kids on the block" for long. This is a strong sorority at quite a few SEC schools & will draw some good legacies or good out of state girls who get cut "because they don't know anyone".
