Pledging a lesbian is like pledging a guy. My point is we have frat and soror for a reason, because we dont want romantic relationships to ruin the brotherhood/sisterhood.
Why bother having separate fraternities and sororities then, if people are going to hook up all the time? Not that I would really be against coed houses...All I am saying is, be consistent and intellectually honest.

There's lesbians and then there's lesbians that are dating and all over each other at sorority events/in the house. Not the same, if you're a lesbian and want to join Greek life you should know sisters are off limits. That is the exact reason WHY most of us are against giving bids to lesbians.

Again, it's an issue for Kappa to deal with. Unless you are a Kappa (which I am certain you are not) you don't have a right to say how Kappa should handle the situation. Plus unless you are a Kappa you don't know what's going on in their house. It's easy to be all self righteous, but it doesn't make you the better person.

I asked why, never said what the right decision was for them. If you weren't so embarrassed by your house's actions you probably wouldn't be so defensive!

Not a Kappa nor a lesbian, but I do know this is an issue that every Sorority will face or is facing - yours, mine and all the others. Each one will have to decide how to handle it locally and Nationally. Being a jerk on Greekrank is only beneficial for Trolls.

Being a lesbian is fine. Thinking it's ok to use the house as a personal dating service IS NOT and is why sororities are apprehensive about bidding lesbians. Those kappas made us all rethink whether we should be so open about letting them in.
