rush

KD- made me feel so weekend (they cut me later in the week) but my first two days there were awesome and I felt so important
DG- loved the energy and felt so loved
Pi Phi- did not give me the time of day, then when they found out a certain position I was in, the next day I was first girl in the house (really fake to me)

The bad things that stood out to me were :
DDD asked me about my dad's job and the girl never let me talk.
Chi O hotboxed me (had four girls talking to me at once- super overwhelming and kind of illegal)
KD had one active literally give up talking to me during sisterhood and she literally looked at me and said "idk what else to talk about."
The ADPi active asked me a question and when I didn't give a cookie-cutter answer, she got really awkward and acted like my answer was dumb.
This isn't necessarily a "bad" thing that Theta did, but when I was trying to tell the active on pref that I feel like my home was somewhere else, the active was like "oh okay we can talk about our favorite shows on netflix instead." There were girls around me having super serious convos about pref, like they should be, and my girl was laughing about netflix. It was so awkward, but I did appreciate her respecting my decision and trying to make the situation less tense.

GOOD
Chi O- literally didn't know any one and they made me feel so welcome and wanted
KD- they have a kind of b¡tchy rep on campus but they were so so so so sweet during rush, very genuine
Kappa- they by far had the most fun rush, the girls were full of energy and treated me like a friend even though I didn't know any actives
Pi Phi- they had the SWEETEST most genuine girls during rush, on oref night I had to have he awkward convo that I felt at home somewhere else but the girl was still so sweet after I said that
Adpi- they were so laid back, I came in knowing they were lower their so I wasn't really going after them that hard but they made me feel like it would be okay to go bottoms teir because they didnt seem to care about it. Loved Adpi
Aphi- I knew coming in that Aphi had a bad rep but they were so nice, it was odd talking to juniors and seniors during rounds because most houses have their sophomores doing the talking but I talked to their president and she wasn't anything like a typical sorority president, very very welcoming
DG- they had sweet girls but their rounds weren't very interesting

Not so good
Theta- their rush was insanely awkward but they got a great pledge class
Aopi- very boring, not competitive enough to keep up with other lower mid houses
Tri Delt- prob the worst honestly, the girl I talked to didn't even pretend to like me

Good:
Pi-Phi- their energy wow!
Kappa- cracked me up made me feel at home
Phi Mu -could not have been sweeter

Bad:
AOP awkward and boring
Chi O completely disinterested
DG don't know if she meant to be but was so rude to me that I actually started crying when I came out of the house

ADPi - Didn't have the greatest time here.. first girl I talked to was nice just said some odd things. The others I talked to didn't seem to know what they were doing when it came to where to sit, etc. but you could tell they have a wide mix of every type of girl which is good
AOPi - genuinely sweet girls - one was sort of awkward but you could tell she was shy. I didn't mind going back
APhi - Did not enjoy my time here. I talked to some great girls but I didn't click with any of them, and it seemed like I had to keep the conversation going myself. They put on really great rounds though and they're working hard to make a name for themselves
Chi O - really liked it here, had good convos with lots of girls and felt very comfortable, so I was blindsided when I was cut. But you can tell that they already know who they want before you walk in the door and it was for the best
DDD - They had so much energy and it was always so fun and happy here. I just felt like I was on my toes because I felt like I had to work harder to impress them for some reason, but the girls I talked to were very nice
DG - really loved all the girls I talked to, but for some reason the conversations were pretty forced with all of them. They made the most of rushing out of the hotel
Theta - Talked to really sweet girls, they were just on the awkward side and a few of them said some things they probably shouldn't have during rush

Good:
Phi mu- very sweet girls. The conversation never felt forced. I was really sad I didn't get asked back.
Pi phi- very similar vibe that I got at phi mu. Just nice girls nice conversation
Theta- pleasantly surprised by theta. I know a lot of people had odd experiences. I think I was just matched really well there
KD- very good at making girls feel welcome.
ADPi- had a lot of fun with the girls I talked too. Another place where things just flowed smoothly.

Neutral:
Chi O- walked out knowing I wasn't getting asked back, but they were nice
AOPi- not bad conversion, just really never clicked with the actives.

Bad:
DG- I think the girl I had was just having a bad day. Complained the whole time barely tried to get to know me. The other girl I had was nice but we only spoke for a couple of minutes.
DDD- The girl I had was obviously disinterested in me
Kappa- The girl I had barely made eye contact with me. Which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Really just did the bare minimum as far as conversation went.

Without naming specific houses...

What I liked: When people were interested in me.
High energy
Smooth conversations.

What I didn't like: People who could obvs care less about me.
Lack of eye contact.
Awkward/stiff conversations

Good:
KD-made me feel really welcomed and probably had one of the best conversations there all week
Pi Phi-the girl seemed super interested in me and was super nice
Phi Mu- also very welcoming and very friendly
Kappa-kept the conversation going really smoothly and had lots of energy
Theta-I actually had a really good experience here. I know some people don't but I liked the girls here. Super nice too.

Neutral:
DG-really nice, just kinda boring conversation
Aopi-Same thing as DG. The girl struggled a bit too to keep it going
Alpha Phi- they weren't bad but they weren't necessarily good either. Sweet girls still.

Bad:
DDD- one girl picked me up and her friend joined. Literally the entire time they talked to each other and were making it difficult for me to say anything. Got ask backed and still do not have that good of experience again.
Chi O-either the girl was tying to be too bubbly and came across fake or the other did not act interested in me at all. Also got hotbox which was very stressful
