what were your tiers?

Okay, let's forget the traditional tiers for a minute because I think it might be helpful to show PNMs how much peoples preferences and perspectives vary during and after How would you - and you alone, ignore what mom or friend sitting next to you would say - rank the houses? Who was/is your top, middle and bottom?
P.S. we can all assume that people will put their house as top so let's put the whole "oh hey there abc" or sarcastic "okay xyz, maybe in your mind!" aside for a minute.

Went through rush be for aphi but I remember the 1st day this is how I felt. I had no connections at all from out of state, I was aware of tiers because of this stupid site but was naive to how important connections were

2. Pi Phi
3. Chi O
4. Theta
5. Kappa
6. DG
7. AOII
8. Phi Mu
9. ADPI
10. Tri delt
I remember loving KD and having a great conversation there and really making a connection. Imagine my surprise when I got cut, of course I wasn't aware I had to know any girls in KD prior to rush. I remember Tri Delt being disgustlingly rude the first day to everyone besides of course the girls they wanted, it was actually a weird and funny trend to see every pnm rank them pretty low because we all felt just as unwelcomed. Chi O and KD DEFINITELY know how to rush every girl and make them feel welcomed and wanted, which is dangerous for girls with no connections so remember that! It's okay to like them but also remember they are some of the best rushers on campus, they want everyone to love them so they can choose who to love! Also, remember truly how you felt, I know I ranked some houses consistently low because of tier talk but a finally reflected and realized I had the most genuine connections at some of these (a realization too late for most)

I went in knowing I liked Kappa and Phi Mu but I never expected to fall in love with a Chi O and KD I got cut the first day but I loved it there. Tri Delt was so rude and made it so obvious they weren't interested in people. I didn't have any DG recs but I had them until the night before sister hood, I think them not having a house distracted me from getting a good vibe on what the chapter was like. Pi Phi and ADPi both had mediocre rush, AOPI was lacking. Aphi did good but I knew going in I didn't want them, I wanted to give Theta a chance just because I had heard people talk so bad about them and I wanted to believe they weren't really that bad, they were sweet but super awkward.

I am from the North and didn't know anyone in sororities before coming to Ole Miss. I always really liked the house I joined prior to rush, however I didn't go into rush saying that I wanted to be what I am now. I didn't fall in love with my house until half way through the week as I go to know the girls and I went into this with a completely open mind. I promise that you'll end up where you belong! Trust the process even though it isn't always fun.

These rankings just reflect the conversations I had during rounds with a few of the actives. Maybe I just didn't get matched up with the right people! If I had gone back to certain houses for other rounds my opinions could have changed.

I SO agree about tri delt being so awkward!!!!! I feel like KD and Chi O at least try to make every single girl feel welcomed and happy during their round, which is a good thing! At tri delt, there would be swarms around certain girls while other girls got complete duds to talk to. So sad
