pi phi

My mom was a pi phi at a different college, and I was just wondering what they're like at Ole Miss since I'll be a legacy!

Pi Phi at Ole Miss is super laid back. They are all super nice and pretty girls from all over the place. If you are going by where they stand rank wise, they are dead middle! They have gained a bit of a party rep but are known for their sisterhood and philanthropic service! Besides DG id say they are one of the more competitive sororities. Overall I really cant say anything bad about them!

Some of my best friends are Pi Phis. They are nice and fun and ranked in the middle.

I agree with above posters that Pi Phi has a lot of great girls. However I disagree about where they are tier-wise. I think they're "top of the lower" tier, not middle tier. Middle tier is solidly DG, KKG and PM. I think Pi Phi is just below that and getting stronger thanks to variable quota.

And this really doesn't matter, even as a legacy. Legacies, even OM legacies, don't mean what they used to and get cut plenty. This is important to know since many girls think their legacy status means they can more easily get a bid. It doesn't.

And please keep an open mind - you may love them and might not. This is about what fits you, not what your mom was. I wish you a good rush!

Pi Phi is solid middle tier. Also Pi Phi had about the same quota as DG, Kappa, PM and AOPi - which was about 35 less than ADPi, Theta and Alpha Phi.

To OOS - We can agree to disagree - and I'm not basing my opinion on the numbers but an overall view. I do think they're breaking into mid tier thanks to variable quota and in my opinion only, of course, are likely will get there this fall if they get a strong PC.
